My Yellow Brick Road to Hollywood:
I began my television career in Journalism school at Indiana University reporting for the campus newspaper and radio station. My career took shape after earning a B.A. in Journalism and hiring on in the sales-promotion department at independent television station, WTTV-4 in Indianapolis, where I devised sales-promotion strategies for a local kids club that aired Disney programming (I became on-air personality and TTV4's Kids Club Host, Commander KC). I later launched a FOX Kids Club at WRSP/WCCU in Springfield, IL. And it wasn't before too long that I 'got the call' and left Lincolnland to launch what became an eight year career working for "the mouse" in Disney syndication and ABC Television Network (NY & LA).
I went on to grow my skills in the film industry (Universal Pictures Partnerships), Cable (Bravo), Ad Sales Marketing (NBC Partnerships), production marketing (Endemol Shine North America), and working for actor/producer/CEO, Dwayne Johnson, building brand partnerships and promotions across his portfolio of tv/film/consumer product brands.
