A writer at heart, I love any opportunity that requires use of both sides of my brain. Every day I feed my keen awareness of tactics and partnerships that motivate consumer behavior. I read constantly. Always listening and researching what's happening in the marketplace to identify WHAT HASN'T BEEN DONE. And I know that a good idea really does come from anywhere!
My Yellow Brick Road to Hollywood:
I began my television career in Journalsim school at Indiana University reporting for the campus newspaper and radio station. Shortly after a few internships and earning a B.A. in Journalism, my career took shape in the sales-promotion arena hiring on at WTTV-4 in Indianapolis to devise sales-promotion strategies for the local kids club, and then later, launching and promoting a Fox Kids Club at WRSP/WCCU in Springfield, IL. It wasn't before too long that I 'got the call' and left Lincolnland to launch what became an eight year career working for "the mouse" in Disney syndication marketing & promotion, Affiliate Marketing & Promotion at ABC Television Network in NYC/Burbank, and Partnership Marketing for ABC Entertainment before pivoting my skills into Film (Universal Pictures), Cable (Bravo), and production marketing (Endemol Shine North America).
The Short of It:
I am well-versed in the power of BRAND and bring forth well-rounded film & television marketing, branding, copywriting, advertising, and promotions experience developing buzz-worthy campaigns for Universal Pictures, NBC, Bravo, The Walt Disney Company, and ABC Television Network.
